What do a secretary, an engineer and a writer have in common? Personal computers — and at one time or another, they and almost every other vocation will have business-stopping computer problems. With the growth of computer technology in business and the workforce has come a huge demand for people who can set up, fix, and maintain personal computers and related technology. This is the job of the computer technician.
Our diagnostics program familiarizes you with the areas a computer technician should be familiar with including the hardware, operating system, and computer applications you will encounter as well as how to work with computer hardware, how to set up computer peripherals, and the basic networking of computers. Diagnosis and resolution of common hardware failures and configuration/compatibility issues is covered, and you will gain the skills you need to take care of upgrading, repairing and protecting PCs.
Companies in every industry need people who can set up and maintain their computer systems, and our diagnostics program will prepare you to follow that rewarding path!
